![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Around the pipes are two Turtle Cannons and beyond those are two Koopa Paratroopas jumping down the stone stairs and floating pillar before the flagpole. The player can also use the blocks as a platform to reach the Warp Pipe above, which leads to an underground area with coins, and the exit pipe will take them back above ground near where they left. Beyond the row of enemies is a structure of blocks, and the gap between the bricks and the stone pillar is a Hidden Block containing a 1 up Mushroom. Afterward are more Little Goombas and Koopa Troopas along with the new Turtle Cannon. ![]() After the second pipe is a row of Little Goombas and Koopa Paratroopas, after which is a block structure with a row of bricks above it, the middle of which containing a Starman. The player starts in front of a row of Koopa Troopas and Little Goombas, ending at pipes with Piranha Plants and a gap between the two. Lemmy Koopa's castle is riddled with giant falling icicles and frozen floors making timed jumps difficult. This is a vertical level, and will only autoscroll when all players step on the rotating pink block. There are hidden blocks in this level which will turn into solid red blocks when the ! Switch is activated further in the game. This is also the only level to feature Amps. This level features brightly colored rotating blocks that must be used to climb to higher locations. It shoots the player straight into World 6. Big Boos, smaller Boos, and possessed furniture are the main obstacles in this level. This is the first Ghost House in the game. There are floating platforms, falling Icicles, and giant falling icicles that Mario can walk on. This level is an icy cave level with three parts. This level marks the first appearance of Ice Bros. The level starts in a snowy ground with Cooligans sliding in Mario's direction. ![]()
